Unusual Things You Can See in Exuma

Published on March 14, 2018 by don amesbury

Elizabeth Harbour,  the reason many people have Exuma on their bucket list.

This 4 mile by  1 mile body of water is surrounded by Great Exuma on the Southern side and a ribbon of small islands on its Northern boundary. Then you have Man O War Cay on its Eastern shore, so the harbour is almost landlocked thus providing a perfectly calm waters which in turn attracts cruising sailors to spend some time in this protected area.

Elizabeth Harbour is the perfect location for visitors to enjoy the many snorkel spots, visit the soft sandy beaches, and dine at one of the many restaurants, the most well known one being Chat N Chill, where the Rays swim just offshore.

Check the attached video to get an idea of this pristine location.
