Universal Orlando: Brand New Holiday Dessert Party

Published on December 17, 2018 by SarahE

Universal Orlando Resort have launched details of their first ever Holiday Dessert Party. The brand new "Exclusive Holiday Viewing Area & Dessert Party” experience starts on December 24th 2018 and runs through December 30th 2018.

Tickets for the holiday dessert party will cost $49.99 plus tax for adults. Tickets for children (ages 3 – 9) are $29.99 plus tax.

Holiday dessert party goers will be able to enjoy dedicated viewing areas for Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s and Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration. Plus specialty food and beverages.

The Universal holiday dessert party starts at 7 p.m. with exclusive access to a prime viewing area for Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s. The viewing location is located in the Hollywood area of Universal Studios.

During the holiday dessert party, you'll be able to enjoy an assortment of beverages, including coffee and hot chocolate. And you'll have a prime view of the incredible floats, larger-than-life balloons and favorite characters during the parade.

At 8:45 p.m., you'll have access to a special viewing area for Universal’s Cinematic Celebration. Prior to the show, you'll be able to enjoy a variety of specialty and seasonal desserts, sparkling wine, sparkling cider and more.

As part of the holiday dessert party, you'll then be able to watch as a colossal celebration of beloved characters and some of the world’s biggest films come to life in the Universal Studios lagoon.

The show seamlessly blends panoramic water screens accented by multi-layer water screens, pyrotechnics, lasers and projection mapping. Over 120 dancing fountains transform the lagoon and surrounding buildings into a vivid celebration of beloved characters from Universal attractions and some of the world’s biggest films.

There are lots of Universal Holiday events throughout December. Check our Universal Holiday Guide for full details.

The “Exclusive Holiday Viewing Area & Dessert Party” tickets are on sale now. Separate theme park admission is required. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.universalorlando.com.

Meet The Author
Our Florida journey began over 2 decades ago when we were searching for somewhere warm for winters. We discovered Florida was the perfect choice. We started spending every winter there and absolutely loved it. Orlando quickly became our permanent ‘winter home’. We were true Snowbirds! We decided to make our commitment a little more concrete in 2005 and bought our first vacation home – Serendipity at Indian Creek. We soon discovered we LOVED being in the hospitality world, so we decided to expand a little. We purchased Sleepy Hollow in 2010. Five years later we came across Serenity Lake House in 2015 and just had to have it to complete our portfolio. We now spend half the year on Disney’s doorstep in Orlando,. The rest of the time we're either in our second home in Scotland overlooking a beautiful Scottish Loch, or enjoying time with family in Cyprus. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it? Ours is served with Pixie Dust on top :)
