It is the oldest functioning courthouse not only in Kissimmee, but in the entire state of Florida. The courthouse plan and design was approved in August 1888, but the building began a year later, July 1889 to be exact. Osceola County  Historical Courthouse was completed in May 1889 and totaled to a cost of $25,000.

It housed (and still houses) a lot of Judges, eight Clerks of Circuit Court, Probation & Parole, the Sheriff, County Commissioners, and thousands of employees through the years. It decided on all types of cases, from petty chicken thievery to high profile murder cases. In August of 1977, the Osceola County Courthouse was included in the Historic Register.

The ride takes guests across Kissimmee Valley, through decade-old oak trees and along Lake Toho. While riding their beautiful horses, the guide tells about the tales of Floridian cattlemen and Kissimmee’s ranching history and heritage.

Because the horses also participate in horse shows and rodeos during the weekend, the trail rides are only available during weekdays, early in the day before it gets too hot.

They were subjected to abuse and starvation by the Japanese soldiers while they walked, so only a lucky handful survived this brutal war crime.

This incident inspired Mr. Landwirth to vow that no child in need would be failed again.

Founded by Bryan Smith, Manor Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater is held once a month in the Silver Spurs Rodeo in Kissimmee. The wrestlers that perform are local pros competing for the Manor Medallion. The major prize has a folkloric back story crafted by Smith himself. The glitz and drama of  WWE-style wrestling is everywhere at the manor, including their menu.  Try items like Head Lock Green Salad or Drop Kicking Veggie Medley.


Kissimmee, although less popular than its neighbor, Orlando where Disney World and Univeral Studios are, also has attractions that are worthy to see because of their historical and cultural significance. Furthermore, the city has its fun parks, too, and a wild side where guests can get in tune with nature.
