Strolling Around On A Cloudy Day

Believe it or not, sometimes even Paradise gets a little bit of dreary weather. It may not have been a great day for heading to the beach to soak up some rays, but it was evident, with a stroll around the quaint beach town, that Puerto Morelos remains a paradise... even when Mother Nature is not cooperating.

The beach was almost deserted, but the peacefulness of the lapping waves against the shoreline spoke volumes to those that listened.

The barren boardwalks seemed to be abandoned for the day.

The town landmark, the leaning lighthouse, waited patiently for tourists to come take their souvenir photos.

Crowds were sparse at the local eateries due to a spattering of rain here and there. Restaurants typically line the streets with outdoor tables, so the weather was definitely affecting their business on this day.
