SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular 2018

SeaWorld Orlando provides a trick-or-treat “fantasea” with oceans of fun during the SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular 2018.

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular takes place every weekend from September 22nd through October 28th 2018. No separate ticket is needed, Halloween Spooktacular is included with park admission.

This day time event includes trick-or-treat stations throughout the park with sweets and treats galore. Special Spooktacular paths lead kids to the stations. Arts and crafts with a sea theme, playful pumpkin fish and all of SeaWorld's fantastic thrill rides combine to make this an experience to suit all ages.

  • Penelope’s Garden Party:  Each weekend, a lively "underwater" habitat blossoms spectacularly into life with the aid of a live DJ, a variety of craft opportunities and whimsical sea-themed characters. Located at SeaWorld's Bayside Pathway, the area has a mass of bubbles floating overhead to excite and charm the whole family.
  • Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween: The cast of Sesame Street including The Count, Elmo and Abby and all their friends are having a dance party to celebrate Halloween at SeaWorld. But the Count is feeling lonely and needs you to help him get into the Halloween spirit. Join batty bats and spooky skeletons in the fun filled stage show that invites you and your family to dance, play and sing along.
  • Spooky Dance Party: The Village Square is the place to be an hour before park closing for a Spooky Dance Party. Princess Penelope and her under-the-sea friends invite you to join them and participate in line-dancing favorites. Watch the fabulous dancing or look above to witness clouds of bubbles filling the evening air. It's phantasmic family fun!
  • Mermaid Grotto: The perfect place to meet the mystical characters and there are photo packages available too.

35 fanciful sea creatures with names like Swedish Fish Suzy and Gummy Worm Manda will be on hand to bring a smile to everyone’s face.

SeaWorld Halloween Spooktacular

Using the special Spooktacular maps at more than a dozen locations, costumed youngsters can search for  hidden ‘underwater’ treasures such as candy or healthy fruit.

Trick-or-treat stations are dotted about SeaWorld but for convenience and easy access, some of them are near the park entrance. A bag is provided for all the treats. Take a back pack bag or some other holdall to make it easier for the children.

If your child is dressing up, make their costume is appropriate for the weather. It's still hot in October, so make sure costumes are cool enough or take a change of clothes. But it could be cool and wet too, so dressing in layers is the answer.

An early start will be the quietest time for Spooktacular Trail.

Count Von Count's Spooktacular Breakfast

A great way to start your day is a yummy buffet breakfast in the company of the amazing Count Von Count, Elmo. Perhaps some furry friends might drop by too..
This fun event is for all the family and comes at $29.99 for adults and $14.99 for youngsters 3 to 9 years of age. There are allergen and gluten free options too.

Meet The Author
Our Florida journey began over 2 decades ago when we were searching for somewhere warm for winters. We discovered Florida was the perfect choice. We started spending every winter there and absolutely loved it. Orlando quickly became our permanent ‘winter home’. We were true Snowbirds! We decided to make our commitment a little more concrete in 2005 and bought our first vacation home – Serendipity at Indian Creek. We soon discovered we LOVED being in the hospitality world, so we decided to expand a little. We purchased Sleepy Hollow in 2010. Five years later we came across Serenity Lake House in 2015 and just had to have it to complete our portfolio. We now spend half the year on Disney’s doorstep in Orlando,. The rest of the time we're either in our second home in Scotland overlooking a beautiful Scottish Loch, or enjoying time with family in Cyprus. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it? Ours is served with Pixie Dust on top :)
