New Years Eve on Bornholm
Are you looking to celebrate New Years Eve on Bornholm?
You really don’t need to do much more than step outside your own front door and look up at the sky.
Most Danes tend to watch the Queen’s New Year speech on television at 6pm and then it’s party time.
After watching the speech, people meet up with friends and family and then let off fireworks in the street.
Everywhere you go you will see fireworks from 6pm until well after midnight.
It’s one big party across the island.
Of course, some gluhwein and schnapps may be consumed, just to enhance the party mood.
