Where do I Find Farmers Markets on the North Shore of Kauai?

Published on January 12, 2017 by Rae-Marie May

As you can tell from the photo we grow things large on the island of Kauai.  This avocado happens to be from my own yard rather than from a Farmers Market; I know, lucky me!  The good news is I'm willing to share.  When you stay at our home, and the avos are in season, you can be sure there will be one or two waiting for you.  We also grow tangerines, oranges, and limes.

Kauai Farmers Markets

Farmers Markets are held almost every day of the week somewhere around the island.  But if you don't want to drive too far from where you are staying, here is a list of markets within a 15 minute drive from Honu Point.

Monday - Anaina Hou in Kilauea next to the Mini Golf - 4:00 to Dusk

Tuesday - Waipa, just north of Hanalei Town (go through town and cross the one lane bridge) - 1:30

Thursday - Kilauea Neighborhood Center, Keneke Road, just off Lighthouse Road - 4:30

Saturday - Hanalei, by the Historic Green Church - 9:30 to 12:00  *This is my favorite

Saturday - Anaina Hou in Kilauea next to the Mini Golf - 9:00 to 1:00

Farmers Markets on Kauai

You'll find so many different kinds of fruits and vegetables, as well as Kauai ready-made food and crafts at these markets.  Definitely try the apple bananas, although once you do it may ruin your desire for any other kind.  Kauai's Farmers Markets really shouldn't be missed.  Enjoy!

Meet The Author
My husband and I fell in love with Hawaii in the early eighties when we made our first trip from San Diego to the islands. In 2000 we chose Kauai as our home. We love the small town feel, great weather and beauty. We couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
